The Elements of Fiction
The six-week course covers every step in drafting, revising, and submitting a short story for publication. The course includes instruction on how short stories work and in-class exercises and take-home assignments that will guide participants in developing an idea or premise for a story, exploring different writerly choices, including point of view, setting, and structure, and considerations for revision.
