Introduction to Creative Writing
Begin refining your writing skills as you explore in greater depth the fundamental techniques of good storytelling. While the focus of this course will be on students’ own writing, we’ll look at a number of examples from published works to bring a keener critical awareness of the possibilities of characterization, dialogue, setting, and point of view. Both beginning and intermediate writers can expect a variety of exercises and prompts to inspire and instruct. Bring pen, paper, and your imagination! (While not a prerequisite, having completed Introduction to Creative Writing would be helpful.)
Sorry, we are no longer accepting registrations for this course. Please contact our office to find out if it will be rescheduled, or if alternative classes are available.
